Karleen Tauszik is a Human Resources Specialist by day and an author by night (and early morning), creating stories, books and articles for both children and adults. Her goal is to get kids to LOVE reading. A fan of e-publishing, all of her books are available in e-book format.
The Kids' EBook Bestseller blog was founded by Karleen in November, 2010. It continued for five years until November, 2015. On August 21, 2015, the New York Times finally began to publish online specific bestseller lists for middle grade e-books and for young adult e-books.* Up until then, Kids'EbookBestsellers.com was the only multi-store best seller list of e-books for children and young adults.
The part of maintaining the blog that Karleen like the best was hearing from the authors after she emailed the good news that they'd hit the top ten. She loved sharing their insights and experience with e-publishing through the weekly interviews and she enjoyed hearing each individual story of success.
Although Karleen no longer posts the weekly bestseller lists and interviews, the blog will remain as a resource for fans of books for children and young adults. The Author Index page supplies the full list of authors with links to their interviews.
Karleen is married to a professional ventriloquist, and they live in the Tampa Bay area. They have three smart adult children and a variety of dummies. :-)
